The questions worth asking first.
Including the two you should be suspicious about: where your key goes, and whether the output is safe.
- 01
- No. It goes from your browser straight to Anthropic in a request header, and nowhere else. This site is static and has no endpoint that could receive the key even if it wanted to. You can confirm it in your browser network tab while a generation runs.
- 02
- You do, to whatever extent anyone owns AI-generated code. Voidsmith claims nothing over it, keeps no copy, and cannot, because it is generated in your browser and handed straight to you as a zip.
- 03
- Not yet. It forges static sites: HTML, CSS and vanilla JavaScript. That is a deliberate first-version limit, because anything with a server needs hosting, secrets and a security review that a zip file cannot carry safely. It will say so rather than fake it.
- 04
- Because hosting would mean holding your site, which means an account, which means lock-in. A static folder runs anywhere: Vercel, Netlify, GitHub Pages, a USB stick. Pushing straight to your own GitHub and Vercel is planned.
- 05
- Not without reading it. It is written by an AI model and nobody reviews it before you download it. Check any form, any script, and anything touching money or personal data before it goes live.
- 06
- Most often the key was mistyped, the provider rate-limited it, or the model returned something the forge refused, such as a file type it will not write or a path that tried to escape the folder. The error message says which.

Can it build an app with logins and a database?
Why is there no hosting?
Is the generated code safe to publish?
Why did my generation fail?
